Elementary School

APIS Elementary encourages children to explore through projects they are passionate about, while emphasizing the development of strong academic skills sets. Students are full partners in their own education, and every child is known and understood by their teachers and other staff members. We educate and inspire students in a flexible, mixed-age learning environment that encourages creativity, perseverance, and a commitment to making the world a better place.

  • A designated elementary facility will have two full classrooms, kitchen and bathroom facilities, as well as an indoor & outdoor play areas
  • Access to a wide variety of outdoor learning labs in gardening, and environmental sciences
  • Well-resources with the tools and technology necessary for 21st century learning

Daily Routine and Hours

  • School day: 8:30 A.M. – 3:30 P.M., Monday – Friday
  • After school programming available (extra fees may apply depending on program selected)
  • APIS remains flexible with families needing to take their child from school for important family events or travels

Tuition Fees

  • Elementary School (Grades K-4) – $15,000
  • Need-based Financial Aid is available for those who qualify

Class and Teaching Structure

  • Two mixed age classes:
    · Lower Elementary – Kindergarten and 1st Grade
    · Upper Elementary – 2nd Grade through 4th Grade
  • One dedicated, lead teacher for each of the classes. Teachers are experienced, dynamic, and caring

Enrollment Cap

  • Elementary enrollment for the 2017-2018 school year is capped at 12 students per class (12 lower & 12 upper elementary)
